COYNE GRAPHIC FINISHING INSTALLS LARGE-FORMAT DIE CUTTER

Custom-Made Cauhe Die Cutter Offers State-of-the-Art Production of Large-Format POP Displays and Similar Products

MOUNT VERNON, OH - Coyne Graphic Finishing, Inc., a full-service binding and finishing company located here, has recently installed a custom-manufactured Cauhe large-format die cutting machine.

The Spanish-made Cauhe machine has a 65” x 120” cutting bed, making it among the largest machines of its kind in the U.S. This machine is the company’s fourth large-format die cutter.

According to Phil Schlaegel, General Manager, the installation of the Cauhe will allow Coyne to diecut a broader range of materials, including thick boards and plastics, that are commonly used for point-of-purchase displays and other large-format products.

“This machine gives our customers the freedom to specify virtually any backing substrate for their displays,” said Schlaegel. “The included heating units allow it to cut everything from corrugated board to Fome-Cor and plastic. Also, the format of the machine is ideal for cutting ‘standee’ displays as a single-piece unit, which reduces turnaround time and improves quality.”

Kevin Coyne, President of Coyne Graphic Finishing, said the installation of this custom-manufactured machine was in response to increased customer demands for high-quality, specialized die cutting capabilities.
