Layout is Key – The layout of a folding/gluing project contributes greatly to its success. Since most pieces that will be folded and glued will first be die-cut, be sure to optimize your layout for efficient die cutting. At Coyne Finishing, we’ll be glad to help you create a layout that maximizes folding and gluing efficiency while also taking your press format into account.

Remove Inks and Coatings – Whenever possible, strip inks and coatings short of any surfaces that will receive glue, such as the glue flaps on pocket folders. Keep in mind that this may include two surfaces that will be joined by glue if your pieces include inks and coatings on both sides of the stock.
